Samantha Veitch - Baby Jupiter
My work is influenced by manga, porn, fetish fashion, alternative models, erotica, vintage uniforms, kinks and general sexy punchy imagery. I like to create stimulating visuals with bright clashing colours, sensual shapes and for these works, the traditional craft of decoupage alongside sexy leg illustrations.
My aim was to create an eye catching image from a far with the sex line adverts only becoming clear when close up. I like the uniformity they create from afar and the interesting details up close. I plan to create much larger works in future and possibly cover a whole wall in sex ads!
I have been painting for as long as I remember and love the freedom offered by mixing mediums such as collage, photography, illustration into my work. I am also an experienced fetish/nude model, I love mixing with creative artists and photographers and this inspires me to try new things in my own work.
I am very excited to be involved with the first Leeds Erotica Festival and lets hope it can be repeated in the coming years.
