Tina Herringshaw - The Reform
I have always been a creative person and my passion for art developed from an early age. I now work as a fashion designer in Leeds having gained a first class honours degree, but have also studied in other creative disciplines including; photography, life drawing and hot glass. Drawing and painting are where my passion lies and I love to blend colours, creating movement and light. I'm inspired by photorealism and like to paint life filled with emotion in bold evocative images. Subject of choice is the human form and the challenge is to capture the expression of love, lust and romance, stopping time and savouring these emotions. I also love extreme light and colour and am drawn to the sky. I find the natural beauty of cloud formations mesmerising and the melting colours of the sunsets spectacular.
Finding time to devote to my art is always a challenge but when I do, I enjoy the feeling of being totally immersed in the moment. I will always have creativity in my life, in which ever form, as without it I would not be me.
