The theme of the Leeds Erotica Festival is: “Representations of modern sexuality”
A short story submitted to the Leeds Erotica Festival short story competition could include gender issues, sexual practices or any other interpretation of the above statement as long as the end product is a form of Erotica.
THE PRIZE
The winning short story will be published in a short story collection by Xcite Books and the author will receive £100. 3 Runners up will be selected, prizes TBC.
HOW TO ENTER
All stories must be wholly original and previously unpublished work, written in English and not exceeding 4000 words.
All story documents must include the entrant’s name, email and telephone number at the start of the document.
Entries must be submitted electronically via email in the form of an attached Microsoft Word document, standard PC-compatible email body text, or HTML.
Please send all entries to the email specified in the competition document (below) under the subject ‘Short Story Competition’. The deadline for entries is midnight on 14th November 2008.
Please Note: Any entries not conforming to these rules will not be entered into the competition.
