PIN-UP STYLING WORKSHOP
We will give you the skills to transform yourself into a stunning vintage starlet. Find out how to get that perfect polished look and learn how to get your eyeliner and lipstick just right, every time. To perfect your new look we will show you how to style your hair into beautiful 1940s victory rolls. All of this will take place in a relaxed atmosphere of girly pampering with friendly make-up artists and afternoon tea.We’ll demonstrate and explain step-by-step how to copy that coveted vintage look. We will be on hand to help you do it yourself and will make sure you go away with the skills and confidence you will need to recreate your new look at home.
Our resident photographer will also provide you with some headshots of you and your new pin look. Your pictures will help you recreate your make-up on your own as well as providing you with a beautiful memento.
Although this workshop is open to all, the timing is especially right if you’re going to the biggest burlesque night in the North: The Burlesque Strip in the evening. You will leave the workshop with your hair and make-up perfect for your evening of glitz and glamour!
Whether you’re planning a night of burlesque, a romantic encounter or just want to discover your inner glamour puss, your new look of classic glamour will make you look and feel like the sexy, feminine, glamorous lady that you are.
What you’ll need to bring:
Black liquid eye-liner
Black mascara
Red lipstick
Hairbrush
Hair grips to match your hair.
Hair nets to match your hair colour
You may also want to bring other make-up such as foundation, powder, blusher and eyebrow pencil to create the full 1940s look, or some flowers to pin in your hair…
