Subculture
Leeds' newest alternative nightclub, thesubculture, lives in the Merrion Centre in the shell of the old Bassment nightclub. Opened mid September 2006 with the remit of providing a home for many of the nights left in limbo by the closure of Bar Phono and the Bassment at Xmas 2005 and other new nights missing from the Leeds alternative scene.
